so imagine a tiny’s injured – maybe they’ve broke a bone from a fall or something – and they can’t move, and then a giant finds them. the tiny doesn’t have any choice but to trust this stranger, and they probably think they’re going to kill them. so they close their eyes tight, little heart racing as the giant picks them up gently. when they’re still very much alive a few moments later, they glare up at the giant and ask them what they’re going to do.
and then the giant reassures them that they mean no harm, they want to help them, and the tiny lets them, albeit suspicious of their intentions. but after the tiny’s recovered, they ask if they could perhaps stay with the giant – it’s dangerous to be alone when you’re so small, after all – and over time they slowly become friends, with the tiny always sitting in the giant’s pocket or on their shoulder.
