Well, since that rant thread I replied to the other day never got resolved, I’m gonna make an executive decision here and just start tagging my het stuff with something:
So these are older terms, but they’re still widely in use elsewhere on the sizekinky internet. GT is short for ‘male giant’, and SW is short for ‘shrunken woman’. Basically, “big guy/tiny lady”.
(On that note, if I do any art featuring NBs, it’ll probably be #GT/SNB too then, for consistency’s sake.)
OH and how about ‘GTN’ for NB giants? Sort of a play on ‘GTS’ more than anything else that makes concrete sense.
Let’s do this!
GTN could be problematic, though. There are cameras and cars that are called that (which is the problem that makes GT as a tag unsearchable). I’ll probably keep using “nb giant” for that.
Yeah by itself it would definitely be no good, but GTN/SW/SM/SNB would work. Buut that’s really only useful for stuff that’s obviously about pairings, so NB giant for sure for fluff at least.
I’m pUMPED you guise.
Hi! I’m new to the community! I just wanted to make a note that I searched GT/SW and a lot of star wars Fandom posts appeared instead. Be warned! D:
Ok doing a little poking around, yeah, it seems like there’s a lot of star wars shit, BUT only if you have your search settings set to “most popular” instead of “most recent”. If I search by “most recent” then literally only two posts are showing up for me.
So the question becomes – do we want to deal with may what be only occasional star wars posts, or do we want a completely unique tag?
I do want something that works well – but at the same time, the tumblr tagging system is crap and most people don’t tag appropriately anyways, so I feel like no matter what we settle on, it will be impossible to keep it as “pure” as some would prefer (like if you want that, then you should be doing forums, not tumblr anyways). Not to mention, it will have gotten rid of the problem of having to see female giantesses, even at the expense of seeing the random star wars thing here and there.
On the other hand, there’s no telling how the tag will look once the movie comes out.
Personally, I’m on the side of brevity – so something short and sweet is ideal for me, even if its not “GT/SW”.
