I’ve been seeing several people on both sides of recent events posting stuff on their vore or G/t blogs. I have no problem with having an opinion, but chances are the people that follow you are there because it’s an escape. To be able to forget, for a time, about how shitty the world is, and just share an interest with one another.
Now, if you want to PM me and have a discussion (that means no emotions, no appeals to empathy, just talking about the facts) I’ll be perfectly fine with that, and will happily debate. I will not, however, be making political posts that gum up my blog for those looking at it.
I made a promise not to post politics or any other serious stuff on my blog. It’s not worth the headache.
Unfortunately! I can’t make that promise. I made this blog to escape too, but being brown is not something I /can/ escape.
This blog is for G/t stuff. But if something political comes up with regards to this community, I’m gonna address it. Just like I did last night.
I won’t feel safe in this community knowing that people don’t support my rights or the rights of others. That kind of makes the escape thing a little difficult.
If that’s a reason for you to unfollow me, then I understand. Just please try to understand my point of view…
I want this to be a safe environment too so I’m not going to be silent when someone expresses a bigoted political view.
P.S. I will be tagging all my political posts as “Proxy talks politics” from now on.
This is my Gt blog, here you find nothing but G/t adventures and cute things.
I sometimes post politic stuff at my @featherpantsd blog. But I keep them strictly separated. Its very rare I post politics. On my non gt blog I post mostly funny stuff, esthetic things, tutorials tattoos, fandom stuff and everything that doesn’t fit into G/t.
I won’t talk current events or capital-p politics (except in my fiction), but “““community”““ stuff counts as politics too, and I’ll probably have things to say about that once in a blue moon where its specifically related to macrophilia. This blog is most definitely an escape, and is at times pure kinky brain vomit. (I hardcore post politics elsewhere. I don’t need that shit on all of my goddamn blogs.)
