I feel like most people in the community don’t acknowledge the sexual side of G/t. I mean, I get that most G/t people are into fluff but that’s not the issue. The issue is that they act like there is no sexual side to G/t. Macrophilia is a fetish and as such is primarily sexual. Ignoring and not acknowledging the sexual side of G/t seems kind of foolish, if not silly. I’m not saying that people who are into fluff should get into the sexual side of G/t, I just want them to acknowledge it.
wait what do you mean, i think most people aknowledge that being interested in gt stuff is also a fetish for some, considering how damn many porn blogs reblog your stuff even if all you do is write slice of life/adventure. i feel like the two are separate, because there is a difference between niche interest and fetish. i dont know a single person who dont also realize that a lot of people fetishize that stuff
In my experience it is way harder to find exclusive fluff blogs than blogs with sexual content.
I’m p sure what you’re seeing is a seemingly disproportionate number of people who like fluff here rather than… nobody acknowledging the giant elephant in the room.
Gonna sound like a broken record, but more and more I’m thiking that this is important to say: tumblr is not the only G/t community. There are many other G/t communities. Some of them with tens of thousands of users.
And most of those other, enormous communities are pretty clear about their existence being for the fetish.
Don’t let tumblr demographics or mores make you think the entire rest of the G/t world is the same.
